Turn off Ads in Gmail Account

You may find Google sponsored links everywhere on web. Gmail also displays sponsored links aka web clips at top in email accounts. If you are annoyed with these targeted ads popping every now and then in your Gmail account, you can turn them off. Here is a little tip that will help you do this.

Jaiku went Open Source

Jaiku, a micro-blogging, social networking service(similar to Twitter) from Google went open source on March 13, 2009. So, Google will not actively develop the Jaiku codebase as it is made available to open source community from that day itself. Interestingly, on the day before it went open source, Google announced to host Jaiku to their App Engine. So, it was called JaikuEngine.
