Increase Browsing Speed with Opera Turbo

A news to rejoice for people having slow internet connection. Opera Labs has introduced a new feature called Opera Turbo which can enhance your browsing speed. Opera Turbo is a server-side optimization and compression technology that speeds up data transfer and reduces the amount of data that needs to be downloaded in order to view the page by up to 80%.

Apple Safari is a leading web browser holding some 8% of market share as of January 2009. Now Apple has unrolled Safari 4 Beta at 24th February, 2009. This new version is claimed to be a fastest and most innovative browser by Apple Inc.

Firefox Add-on to Expand TinyURLs

TinyURL is a great way to share links on net. But it could also pose threat as user is not aware of the site he/she could be taken to. There are many bad boys lurking online to take advantage of this. So, it would be great for people to see the actual link before clicking on TinyURL.

Previously I blogged about SWF Opener utility which can search IE and Mozilla cache for SWF files. Being an Opera user, I miss such thing for this browser. However with little search on internet, I found this little application, OperaCacheView which can view Opera’s cache content.

Opera browser doesn’t provide a keyboard shortcut for Notes by default. So, if you have to write notes while browsing or doing anything else, it’s very lackluster to go to Tools and clicking Notes every time. Instead here is a simple trick you can make use of to add a keyboard shortcut to Notes.
