Also, the companies ready with new Bluetooth 3.0 devices and some technical nuts and bolts will be announced on the very same day. So, what this release will bring to users? Read on to find out.
The most notable feature of this version is surely a speed one. The standard is expected to provide up to 480 Mbit/s short range wireless transfer speed, thanks to the use of 802.11n. Yes, you thought it right. This new version uses latest Wi-Fi 802.11n standard.
With this, Bluetooth SIG has come up with a unique “two-pronged design” which takes care of backward compatibility and faster bulk transfer both at once. Also there will be a feature called “Enhanced Power Control (EPC)” to address issues of disconnects due to some movements like putting your phone in a pocket. All these features with low cost and low power consumption, the two most concerned aspects for developers of devices such as Mobile phones.
